El Jay went to see Mariachi Christmas at Pope Joy Hall today. He loves going to UNM. He told me today that he understood the Spanish they spoke. I am glad. After all, his first words were in Spanish. They were MAS and LETCHE.

He also told me someday he wanted to be like me and go to UNM. He is on the right track. I smiled. Maybe being in school is the right path for me. I wish I knew.
